New features in Blackboard Learn

Sis characterized by offering: multi-entity, system anti-plagiarism, a social environment, content manager, app native mobile app, repository cloud of learning objects and advanced tools for tracking and early detection of dropout.
It has a student information system(SIS) and a customer relationship management(CRM) system to manage all student information.
Among the features Blackboard Learn features include:
-Course Management: Allows instructors to create and organize course content, such as reading materials, assignments and assessments.
-Assessment Tools: Provides options for online quizzes, tests and assessments, with student progress tracking capabilities.
-Discussion Forums: Facilitates interaction between students and teachers through online discussion forums to share ideas, ask questions and collaborate.
-Communication: Provides communication tools, such as internal messages and announcements, to keep students informed about news and course updates.
-Calendar and Assignments: Allows the creation of course calendars and assignment of assignments, helping students to stay organized.
Online Collaboration: Facilitates real-time collaboration through features such as chat sessions and web conferencing.
-Progress Tracking: Provides tools for students and teachers to track academic performance.
AI design assistant
The most important new feature in Blackboard Learn is the new AI design wizard, developed in collaboration with Microsoft and available exclusively in Blackboard Learn Ultra, to easily create course structure, assessments and more.
Blackboard Learn leverages generative AI capabilities to help teachers and instructional designers, and becomes one of the first LMSs with such capabilities. With the AI design assistant, teachers can optimize the course creation process, allowing them to be more engaging and effective.
The AI design wizard allows:
-Simplification in course creation: To allow teachers to focus on what they do best, teaching.
Obtaining royalty-free images.
-Creation of evaluation rubrics.
Generation of content-based exams.

The tool also includes features such as self-expression, an adaptive exam experience designed to reduce learner anxiety, and all kinds of tracking functions for optimal progress monitoring.
